Continuing the legacy of a military family who values service to humanity, I am an Army veteran and West Point graduate with 28 years of active and reserve service. I live my life guided by the West Point motto, “Duty, Honor, Country” and try to serve as the “man for others” my Jesuits educators challenged me to be. I also seek to provide my clients with the operational excellence and outstanding client service my UC Davis MBA professors taught me to value.
In essence, I am drawn to the nobility and significance of serving our senior population, and as the “general contractor of your life”, guide my clients through the complicated landscapes of life management, elder care, medical advocacy, financial responsibilities, and disability services. My varied leadership roles in business have included project management, strategic planning, client services, and numerous operational executive positions. At my core, I am a builder and problem solver.
Due to the opportunities I’ve had serving in the armed forces, the corporate world, and smaller family businesses, I have developed the experience, knowledge, aptitude, and compassion to assist your family navigate the waters of turbulent times. Born out of my own experiences helping my dad care for my mom through her years of struggle with dementia and many of the health issues faced by seniors, I’m honored to recognize and serve the needs of seniors and individuals with disabilities, tailoring my service to each unique situation, while seeking to maximize choices, independence, and quality of life – to ensure our clients are living a meaningful and fulfilling life.
As the founder of DePiazza Fiduciary, I have previously held or currently hold a variety of professional degrees, licenses, and certifications. California Licensed Professional Fiduciary, Certified National Guardian, Certified Senior Adviser, and Residential Care for the Elderly Administrator are among those credentials.

“I live 5000 miles away from my mother and when she was diagnosed with Alzheimers I didn't see how I could effectively organise her care.
Engaging John DePiazza as our fiduciary was clearly the right thing to do as he has been able to oversee and manage her continuing care.
He takes a holistic approach to her needs and wellbeing, and has all the contacts and know-how required to ensure she is kept safe and happy for the foreseeable future.”
